Emer McParland
Head of Vocals
Emer McParland has an honours degree in popular music, and diplomas in singing and piano from Trinity College of Music in London. Her versatility has led her to be involved in various music projects. These include singing on numerous movie soundtracks such as 'Sleepy Hollow', 'The Gangs of New York', 'Around The World In 80 Days' and 'The Mummy Returns'. Her recording credits in the world of pop include artists such as Peter Gabriel, Bjork, and Spiritualised, and her West End experience includes 'Starlight Express.' She has appeared as a guest soloist with the BBC Concert Orchestra and The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and in complete contrast, sung with Ant and Dec as a guest soloist on their Saturday Night Takeaway TV show.
Her credits in the world of Jazz include guest solo appearances with the BBC Radio Big Band, the RTE Radio Big Band and the National Youth Jazz Orchestra. She is an experienced vocal and singing teacher, working with students of all ages and abilities and is Professor of Music at the London programmes of Ithaca College (New York) and Pepperdine University (Malibu), where she lectures on topics such as World Music, Opera, Classical Music, and Pop.

Emer has also just finished a tour as the special guest soloist with the Massed Bands of the Royal Air Force. As part of this band she recently performed in front of the Queen and the Prime Minsiter for the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall. (See Picture Below)
