Barbara is a talented singer songwriter who has recently completed a BMus Honours in Popular Music Performance at the London College of Music. Through her studies and performances she has trained and gained knowledge of various styles of music including: Pop, Rock, Funk, Soul, R&B, Reggae and Country. As well as teaching at the Institute, Barbara also runs a Pop Vocal Workshop within Stagecoach, teaching young singers the importance of microphone technique, performance skills and stage presence. Barbara has also joined the Voxbox team as a pre-certified tutor after discovering the great benefits and results the Speech Level Singing technique has to offer. As a singer songwriter she regularly performs with her original Funky House & Disco band Kohene, and is the lead singer and manager of The Kohene Collective; a jazz/funk function band.  As a session singer, Barbara has performed lead and backing vocals for a large variety of songwriters and producers.
