Emer is Head of Vocals at the Institute. She is an experienced vocal teacher, working with students of all ages and ability and is professor of Music at the London programmes of Ithica College (New York) and Pepperdine University (Malibu).

She has an extremely impressive C.V. which includes: Singing on numerous movie soundtracks such as 'Sleepy Hollow', 'Gangs of New York' and the as yet unreleased 'Eragon'. Recording for artists such as Peter Gabriel, Bjork and Jarvis Cocker and appearing with the BBC Radio Big Band, The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the National Youth Jazz Orchestra.
