The Institute is located in a fantastic building in Kilburn, very close to central London. The building has recently been completely refurbished and counts on the latest professional facilities, including performance and teaching studios, iMac technology suite, acoustic drum practice booths, student recreation and chill-out areas and a range of support and administrative services. In addition, there is a wide range of shops, stores and music-related services nearby, such as recording studios and instrument retailers - including the famous Abbey Road studios!
Situated on the corner of Dyne Road and Kilburn High Road, the location is very easy to get to, being only a few minutes walk from both the tube (Kilburn station on the Jubilee line) and Silverlink rail (Brondesbury station), with excellent road access and bus services.

Kilburn has a rich musical heritage, and students will find a wide range of clubs and live music venues within easy reach of the Institute. In particular, the Luminaire club hosts live music events almost every night of the week, and the Institute holds its regular showcase and other student events at this venue. |
