Vocal Pop Workshops
The Institute has teamed up with Stagecoach, Europe's leading provider of theatre arts training to children and young adults, to deliver tailored 'vocal pop' workshops' exclusively to Stagecoach students!

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS? First and foremost, these workshops are fun! Stagecoach students will have the chance to learn the disciplines required to perform great pop songs - songs they hear on the radio and TV - in a 'real gig' situation. They are educational too - an Institute tutor will help students explore various elements of pop singing, including adding the correct pop sound to the voice, blending the voices when performing backing vocals, stage presentation and choreography, microphone technique and working on the style of diction that is appropriate to the material. |

HOW ARE THE WORKSHOPS CONDUCTED? The workshops are delivered at your school and are conducted by an Institute tutor. Songs covered by each age range are chosen for their appropriateness - younger students cover less complex material whilst older groups cover more challenging material. All PA and equipment necessary for the workshops is provided, and all materials for the day will be forwarded to the school in advance, enabling your vocal coaches to familiarize students with the songs ahead of the event. |

WHAT WILL IT COST?
Each half-day workshop will consist of three fifty-five minute sessions, one for each age range, so that it fits into the regular Stagecoach schedule; in essence taking the 'vocal' slot of the 'dance-vocal-stage' format. Cost varies according to the timing of the workshop booking, as follows:
Weeks 5, 6, 7 of any term £225
Weeks 8, 9, 10 of any term £265
Weeks 11, 12, 13 of any term £300
