SATURDAY JAM CLUB COURSE SUMMARY

If you want to play or sing in a band, Saturday mornings have just got way more fun!

These classes take place every Saturday morning during term times, and are for young students of guitar, bass, drums or vocals. The classes are innovative, mixing instrument tuition with real band workshops, resulting in a fun and stimulating way to explore music and get some experience of playing in a band.

SATURDAY JAM CLUB COURSE OUTLINE

Lasting a total of there hours and following the school term times and holidays, these are an ideal Saturday activity for any students with an interest in contemporary music and who want to learn to play guitar, bass, drums or vocals.

Activities are specifically tailored to young musicians, and use an innovative format that mixes both instrument specific classes with fun band workshops. This format offers the chance for students to learn and perform with other young musicians within real bands, but also to get spend class-time with specialist tutors and to help them build up their skills. For example, vocalists can focus on group harmony singing or guitarists can explore improvising and jamming with other guitar players. 

Most importantly, the classes are fun, offering young musicians the chance to play with likeminded people, form new friendships and explore their open creativity! Finally, an end of term gig will give the students the chance to show off their stage craft!

Students are streamed by age and ability wherever possible
