The school was formerly known as The Drum Institute, before being integrated into the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance last year. We have the reputation not only of being the outstanding place for students of drums and percussion to develop their skills, but also for the excellent facilities available for practice, performance and teaching.

The Institute counts on some of the best teachers of contemporary drums in the country (click here to see details of our faculty members). All perform regularly as live musicians, and work alongside artists such as Madonna, Spice Girls, Take That and Steve Vai as writers, collaborative musicians or performers. |
Importantly, our teachers understand both the practical and theoretical elements required by the modern drummer, and you can count on years of experience when you sit in one of our classes!
