The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance and the University of East London have collaborated to produce a fantastic BMus Degree (in Popular Music Performance). This course has now firmly established itself as the benchmark music degree for students of guitar, bass, drums or vocals who are looking to develop both their musicianship to a professional standard and subsequently to develop a sustainable and successful career in the music industry. The programme features both practice and performance-centred modules and it taught throughout by experienced academics and industry professionals in world class facilities close to central London.
With considerably more contact teaching hours than any other popualr music degree programme, students also have the option of choosing the unique and innovative Licentiate module in the third year which provides the successful graduate with a pathway into teaching.
