The ICMP understands the importance of charitable support and is proud to have the opportunity to be involved with organizations such as the Musicians Benevolent Fund and Music Industry Association’s Music for All.

The Musicians Benevolent Fund (MBF) provides help and support to over 1,500 musicians and their dependants and those in related occupations when illness, accident or old age bring stress or financial burdens.  The MBF also offers awards to young musicians and performance opportunities and training through donations given as an expression of thanks from music lovers to those who have dedicated their lives to creating music. The Music Industry Association’s (MIA) Music for All project has the mission of simply ‘making more musicians’ by involving themselves with school children, young people, families and over-50s to promote the benefits of music making.  Music for All is currently running projects which include taster lessons for school children and teaching in young offenders institutions.
