2008 Scholarship programme results revealed

Peformance and selection of our Scholarship finalists for the 2008 Higher Diploma took place last month.  Watch out for the Scholarships for the 2009 Higher Diploma which will be announced early 2009.

Every year, in conjunction with our key partners, the Institute awards a range of full and partial Scholarships for study on the Higher Diploma.  Last month saw the selection process for awarding a full Scholarship and one partial Scholarship on each of the four instruments.  The winners are:

The decision process

The best eight applicants from GUITAR, BASS and VOCALS and seven from DRUMS were chosen for the grand final.  Each underwent a short interview and live performance demonstrating a range of styles and ability in front of a panel of judges.
