John Currie has been playing bass for over thirty years and is one of the most versatile and experienced freelance bassists on the London music scene today.

Over this time he has worked with everyone from Alvin Stardust to Guns'n'Roses guitarist Slash. He has been writing for Bassist and Guitarist magazines for twelve years, and specialises in advanced funk and rock styles.
