Since graduating from the Guitar Institute of Technology in 1993, Martin has become a busy guitar player and guitar teacher specialising in styles of the post-Van Halen era.

He has worked professionally as a guitarist on numerous studio sessions covering a wide range of contemporary styles and has over a decades worth of live playing experience including various UK and European tours.

He teaches a range of subjects and techniques in the guitar faculty at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance including the popular Rock Performance workshops.

Currently one of West London's busiest private guitar teachers, Martin has written for international best seller Guitar-A Complete Guide For The Player published in 2002 and writes and produces for his band, Linearsphere.
