Iain Scott has been a professional session guitarist and guitar teacher for over twenty five years.

After playing with dozens of chart topping artists in the 70's' Iain relocated to Los Angeles where he taught at the Guitar Institute of Technology for two years before returning to London to join the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance as a guitar teacher and tutor in 1988.

Iain's varied career has included working with Brian Wilson of the Beachboys and playing in the LA based band Afterburner with Frank Gambale.

He has written the popular 'Blues Workshop' column for The Guitar Magazine for over eight years and is a contributor to Guitarist magazine. Iain has also written 'Electric Blues Guitar,' one of the most popular guitar tuition books to appear in the last five years.
